These Spicy Noodles are like a shock therapy that will introduce you to the strong and assertive cuisine of Chongqing. Fine wheat noodles in a spicy and numbing soup. They’re like the meshes of a net that captures any flavour and taste. Eat them as they are or complete the dish with minced meat, greens or a fried egg to get this closer to perfection.

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and gently cook the noodles (70g) for 3 minutes (medium heat). Save some cooking water (about 250ml) before draining your noodles. Set the noodles aside.

2. Add the seasoning bag (35g) and the pickled vegetables bag (18g) into a bowl. Pour the cooking water you’ve saved, and stir well.

3. Add the noodles to the bowl, sprinkle the powder bag on top (following individual tastes). Mix well and serve immediately.

TIPS: Add minced meat, fried eggs, and/or cabbage for a better taste.

Noodles (70g): Wheat Flour, Water, Salt.

Seasoning bag (35g): Vegetable oil, Chilli, Sichuan pepper, Ginger, Garlic, White sesame, Salt, MSG, Sugar, Spices, Edible flavors and spices.

Pickled vegetables bag (18g): Pickled vegetables, Soybean oil, Salt, Chilli, Ginger, Garlic, Sugar, Spices (star anise, pineapple, fennel, cinnamon, cardamom, Sichuan pepper, turmeric), Glutamate sodium, Disodium 5′-ribonucleotide, Sulfur dioxide.

Powder bag (10g): MSG, Salt, Sugar, Edible flavors and fragrances, Silicon dioxide, 5 ‘flavored disodium nucleotide, Disodium succinate.

This product contains soybeans, sesame and grains (wheat).
